The first thing you want to do is find a niche. If you have no knowledge about the niche or may be no interest in promoting them, then there is a very little chance of success promoting such niche. Major affiliate sites offer thousands of products to sell online and chances of getting a popular niche which suits your interest is quite good.

3. Make sure that niche you choose to promote, will offer you a justified commission on sale or in other words you should be rewarded well for promoting or selling their products. You would never want to promote a product which offers nothing for your effort.

4. PPA niche are the best. They pay you not only for selling the product but for every action. PPA means Paid per Action, where you get paid for a set number of banner impressions, number of leads for that particular product that you generate and the number of visitors you bring to the product website. So basically that means you get rewarded for every little effort that you have made. There are many other conditions for which you might be rewarded.

In the world of affiliate marketing it is very important that you choose your product after some research, taking into considerations the above mentioned factors. It might take some time to set up your business, but it will be worth waiting for.
